Didn't do it for me like Crane Wife did, I didn't really like more than about 2 songs on Hazards either. It seemed pretty boring, nothing nearly as inventive as The Island or as fun as O Valencia.

Sounds as if there might be too many reviews coming in for this...maybe I shouldn't write mine?

it sounds so lazy compared to their past stuff. but who knows maybe the second half of this album will have some cool stuff

I'm giving it a 3 or 3.5. I enjoyed it but it seems a bit safe and it's definitely not as good as I was hoping for.

there's no personality in the recordings at all. its all flat, tepid, and lifeless. i thought it would grow on me but its been a long time and other than a couple of songs its just this amorphous mass of overproduction and mediocrity.

it's a very safe album, yeah, but it's also just really damn pleasing to listen to. i'm torn between a 3.5 or a 4

Who are you?

Also, who payed Adam Thomas to be so unapologetically and objectively wrong?
