i like veil of maya. Songs get a tad repetitive after a while but their albums are good for several listens. I kinda wish their singer had more range. Kinda sounds like the black dahlia murder guy but not quite as good. And BDM kick a little more ass.

Most of it isn't even the band, it's the production. Other than his own band, I can't stand Keene's production style, he makes everything sound so compressed and boring.

I don't really get the VOM hate either. This band is pretty good. One of the very few deathcore bands worth listening to.
