Faithless Consider Breaking Up 2010-08-03 by Nagrarok | 6 Comments | Faithless have admitted they will be considering their future after their current tour.
The dance music legends, who have been going for 15 years, are currently on a world tour and while keyboard diva Sister Bliss said she hoped the band would put together a dub album next, she didn't guarantee they would still be together after the tour.
"There is an end to everything," she said at Global Gathering, where the group headlined the main stage on Friday night.
She went on: "I just don't know (whether we'll still be together). We'll find out when we've finished this bout of touring when we're jaded and possibly depressed and in need of a long holiday."
But she gave some hope to Faithless fans, saying: "At the moment it feels so creative - I mean the gigs are fantastic and really enjoyable. I'd really like to do a dub album though, just to mess everyone up. We've done the dance one now, time to slow down, lounge music next."
Vocalist Maxi Jazz said he had "no idea" about whether the outfit would split, but still got a buzz out of touring and playing their biggest hit, Insomnia.
"Playing Insomnia never gets tedious. You never get tired of watching people enjoy themselves," he said. "There is also kind of an odd sense of wonder that this song is still so popular after so long. So I never get tired of playing that."
Apart from Insomnia, Faithless are also widely known for their hit songs 'We Come 1' and 'God Is A DJ'.
