Phosphorescent gear recovered

2010-07-13 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 27 Comments
New York police have recovered a van and tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment belonging to local indie folk act Phosphorescent.

In a rare satisfactory resolution to such events, the van, which was stolen following a show in Brooklyn on Thursday, was recovered intact with no apparent damage to any of the equipment.

The band wrote: "This is insane! The police have recovered the van and all of our gear is in there and appears to be un-damaged."

All donations made over the past week will be refunded. The band are currently on their way to Columbus, OH to resume the tour.

well good for them. idk why morons try to steal shit (and so much of it) from popular bands.. it'd be nearly impossible to sell it.

Incredibly lucky...I'm really happy to see this because it's really a shame when that happens and their situation was extra shitty because it was the first show of the tour.

Aww that's too bad.

It could have meant one less pretentious indie band with minimal talent.

Good news but Toolpeth congrats on being a fool, it is easy to sell equipment on these days.
