Hawthorne Heights Go Acoustic

2006-09-22 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 5 Comments
Hawthorne Heights last week ran a contest by e-mail allowing fans to choose a song from their two Victory Records releases for the band to re-record acoustically.

The band announced the winner is a fittingly subtle fashion:

hey guys thanks so much to everyone who has emailed us. we have calculated all of the votes and the most voted song is... THIS IS WHO WE ARE

As previously reported, the band is currently unsigned. They recently decided to leave Victory Records due to personal difference with label head Tony Brummel, who they also accuse of withholding royalties from them. A lawsuit is pending against the label.

Oh wow, I deleted 11 of the 11 comments here. Come on guys, most of you should all know by know that there isn't any negativity allowed on the news section of the site.

If I remember correctly, "This Is Who We Are" was the best song from the band's last album. This Message Edited On 09.23.06
