The Kinks' Pete Quaife Dies

The BBC have confirmed that the former bassist of The Kinks, Pete Quaife, has passed away aged 66. Quaife played on some of the groups most influential hits, including "You Really Got Me", "All Day and All of the Night" and "Dedicated Follower of Fashion".

It is not clear how he died, but the star been undergoing kidney dialysis for over a decade.
