Anacrusis release Hindsight

Technical thrash band Anacrusis have quietly released their album Hindsight: Suffering Hour & Reason Revisited through CDBaby and Amazon.

The album can be purchased as one double-disc CD through CDBaby or as two separate albums (Vol. 1 & Vol. 2) through Amazon's mp3 store.

The 2-CD set features the band’s debut album, Suffering Hour and follow-on release, Reason, completely re-recorded with the demo track “Apocalypse” as a bonus. The albums were completely re-recorded with the band’s original line-up and will feature a 24 page full-color booklet with lyrics and photos (with the physical release).

No, there's no limit but it would suck to bump that many other staff reviews off of the front page. Especially since some staff don't post reviews all that often.

It would be interesting to hear these rereleases, the production was so bad on their stuff that it wasn't even worth listening to. Screams & Whispers was a bit better but some modern production would do wonders for their music.

Well, I bought volume 2 (the re-recording of Reason) and the production is awesome now. It's still kind of raw, but it has totally fixed the muddy sound of the original and is a lot more powerful and clear.

Yeah, their artwork was always pretty bad until Screams & Whispers. I'm going to end up buying Vol. 1: Suffering Hour this weekend because I know that one could definitely benefit from the re-recording.
