Bloc Party's Kele Okereke will release The Boxer on June 21.

Speaking to NME, Okereke commented: "I've said from the beginning I'm into dance... It gets me excited and I think this record is going to go some way to prove that to people, hopefully."

Hahah, definitely fair enough, unless it actually gets some positive feedback... which judging by Bloc Party's worse-with-each-album trend it probably won't.. hopefully though i guess!

This is gonna be interesting. This was always what he wanted to do as a side-project. He has come down to Oz many times just to do his own DJ sets, with little fanfare. This could surprise some people with how clubby it could get.

Nah, I loved Intimacy. Definitely their best album... except for Ares. And Mercury. But Ion Square makes up for both of those.

But yeah, will definitely be getting this.
