New album is blatant Opeth worship with horrible synth usage. The only thing that saves it from being a complete disaster are the solos.
| | | Really? I've only given it a few listens, but I didn't hear much Opeth worship (but I trust your opinion, so this bothers me).
| | | Listen to the title track and think Opeth and you'll see what I mean.
| | | Implying Opeth worship is instantly considered as bad.
Really, except for the originality this album is incridibly solid. I don't see why people bitch so hard about this even though the music is good.
| | | this is one of the best melodic death metal albums I've heard the last years. There is no Opeth worship for sure . There is only Amorphis worship, but this is reasonable since the band includes some former members of Amorphis.
| | | If you can honestly say that after listening to the title track that you don't hear Opeth, I can honestly say that you need your hearing checked. That main riff could have literally been taken right off of BWP.
