Song is growing on me with every listen, although the chorus still sounds kinda weak. Video was absolutely random

decent metalcore, but nothing too standout. the video reminded me of chimera.

yeah I'm pretty sure this qualifies under gritty n' groovy hard rock, or if you will, alternative metal. Metalcore - not at all

lol ok. i'm pretty sure no one really gets that fastidious about genres.

Somewhat true, but calling this metalcore is absolutely mislabeling it so ;)

I label it nu-metal, the genre still exists no matter what people say

yeah this is pretty much radio hard rock, no core in this at all.

man the word core is thrown around so much nowadays, i don't know what is what.

grindcore? where is there core in that genre?

grindcore? where is there core in that genre?

just when I think you couldn't get any worse

so instead of answering the question, you'll just sit there and make fun of it?

pure logic.

which you don't have. grindcore is... no wait that would be a waste of time. look it up since you're here.

i really don't understand your mindset. my question was an earnest one, and i was assuming someone who had a better understanding would take 15 seconds and explain it.

instead, you spent twice that time attempting to type something that came across as witty.

I know what grind is, i'm just not explaining it to you, which is pretty much the same as yu-gi-oh was implying.

this is starting to look suspiciously close to many a recess back in elementary school. i think it goes something like:

i know something that you don't know

Is it really that hard to look up a genre on the INTERNET?

as long as we've both accepted the fact that you're operating on the intellectual level of a third grader during recess, then yes, yes it is.

and i already know what grindcore is, i have a few bands of the genre on my comp, i was just inquiring where the core influences came from. but you were more eager to start a spam fest than, well, think.

Yeah this isn't even close to metalcore..., video was stupid. Song is pretty alright I guess.

@Blooz: Grindcore? Off-topic much? I'm not too sure Grindcore enthusiasts are going to be answering your question in a Nonpoint topic. Try asking it in a Grindcore band thread, or in the forums. Better yet, just do what Relinquished was implying.

As for the song, it's meh. Chicks fighting are sexy as fuck. (kinda opposite of what carnifex said)

nu-metal...

This isn't nu metal anymore. These guys actually haven't been pure nu since Recoil. To The Pain was hardcore influenced alt.metal (maybe even groove if to stretch it a bit), Vengeance was like a poorly executed mix of hard rock and nu metal and this sounds more like gritty hard rock than anything.

i can't believe how now one has commented on this...

that was one giant Monster Energy Drink commercial with Nonpoint playing the music. i mean holy shit, did the band get paid to do this?
that being said, song is alright. sounds way the hell too much like Vengeance though

yeah dude a lot of bands do that.

vader did an entire music video, while good, was just an advertisement for a video game.

I don't like the song (and video) at all. I'm starting to be afraid the upcoming album will be another flop.
