I'm sorry, there must be a culture clash here because when I was her age his name didn't have that kind of a connotation to it. Sure everyone respected what had happened, but the name never even came close to offending anyone, even a Jewish family I knew.

hmm, that's really interesting actually. I see your point and it makes me intrigued about her, particularly since she's actually expressed interest in doing more then pop. She's stated that on her next record she wants to sound something like The Flaming Lips and Arcade Fire (there's a bit more to it, but for the people that haven't bothered to listen to the album, that should suffice)

That would be cool. I haven't listened to the album and I don't really plan on it, but if she does something like that I would definitely respect her for doing what she wants to do as an artist instead of what the general public wants to hear.

I listened to her record the ENTIRE way through for my review. Not only should that garner me a prize, but I feel that I have every right to judge her harshly based on literally some of the worst shit I've heard in a long long time... and that's coming from a guy who tries not to be critical on pop music because it's usually easy to see the difference of objectives / many other reasons that aren't important.
