What? What? That guy was a fuckin beast! Fuck! Now I won't get to see him live....
| |
I was mildly saddened when I heard this on facebook.
| |
shiiit, he was amazing.
hope they find someone capable enough to fill his space.
| |
Title should be renamed "Augury lose the only thing that makes them interesting"
| |
^^ that. Pretty much the only reason I love Fragmentary Evidence so much.
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
| |
This is almost as bad as Textures loosing their vocalist. I'm not sure if either band will bounce back.
| |
shit shit shit. this is not a good thing
| |
It sounds to me like this was known ahead of time considering the tour starts TOMORROW. I was considering going to see this tour just for Augury but now I'm not so sure.
| |
Awww man, hopefully they find a good replacement for their records.
| |
lol my news posts always get deleted. I'm going to see them March 13th, hopefully the replacement is good.
| |
o no!!! best part...
| |
lol my news posts always get deleted. I'm going to see them March 13th, hopefully the replacement is good. I posted that Pete Wentz was leaving Fall Out Boy before anybody, then it randomly got deleted in favor of one with redundant information and an opinion on the end. So I guess it's just that I got this post.
| |
It's cool. I just hope the replacement for the tour lives up to my expectations
| |
maybe Pete Wentz will be the new Augury bassist.
| |
METVL
| |
he was great, but the band is still awesome, vocalist/guitarist is a jolly guy
| |
Lead vocalist/guitarist has a pretty cool side-project but I don't know how well the band will be able to bounce back from this.
| |
Met Forest at one of the shows I went to. Great guy. This will suck, but there are a lot of capable bassists out there.
| |
that made my day worse hearing this......
| |
Well, he's alive, I'm happy about that. From the way it was worded, it sounded like he died or something.
| |
Title should be renamed "Augury lose the only thing that makes them interesting
This. Band is worth just about nothing now.
| |
^ so not true...
but yeah the news is so damn bad
| |
Wow! a bassist thats interesting in Prog Death metal? sounds impossible!
| |
what's the name of the side project?
| |
Wow! a bassist thats interesting in Prog Death metal? sounds impossible!
Never listened to Opeth or Dan Swano?
The name of the side-project is Humanoid. It is very far from Death Metal, but it is very interesting nonetheless. Very progressive, little acoustic and ambient sections as well.
| |
'Wow! a bassist thats interesting in Prog Death metal? sounds impossible!'
opeth, atheist, cynic, gwynbleidd, augury, kalisia......
| |
Nothing real progressive about Atheist, but I would throw in the early works of Sean Malone in there as well.
| |
sucks
But he wasn't the main songwriter, they'll still be awesome even if the bass isn't as mindfuckingly good.
| |
god fuck! i just bought my tickets yesterday! i was excited to see him... well at least i get to see obscura's bassist
| |
I'm pretty sure that dude was being sarcastic, guys.
| |
Yeah
| |
Pretty strange thing to be sarcastic of...
So we are supposed to assume that all progressive death metal acts are required to have stand-out bassists?
| |
^ they are not required to...they do stand out
| |
"Nothing real progressive about Atheist"
????...you havent heard them ..have you ?
| |
Neither have you, apparently.
| |
if i havent i wouldnt have commented...
