pffffft Free is still too much
|

I don't feel like advertising for them,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BhR3qJBQJM
Not bad IMO, even though I stopped listening to these guys a little while ago. Kinda catchy. ;)
|
| |
Its too easy and trendy to immediately bash them. Song is miles better than the new Trivium track just released.
|
| |
Yeah.. i hate this site, this time last year i would have creamed my pants at this and now im sitting here digging what sound likes a 50ft turbine filled with flaming car scrap rotating faster than the speed of light with some guy screaming random words for no reason, shit rocks
|
| |
Not bad, but not fantastic, I'll wait till the album gets leaked.
|
| |
as i scream aim anf fyyyyyyyyyyyyyyre the death tholl grows higherrrrrrrrr
|
| |
Fuckin nasty.
|
| |
I dont care what anyone says about Bullet, 'Tears Dont Fall" rapes.
|
| |
That song is awesome.
|
| |
I dont care what anyone says about Bullet, 'Tears Dont Fall" rapes Rapes any good music whatsoever.
TEEEEARS DON'T FALLLLLLLLLL
They sock.
I wasted my life checking out, 'Scream, Aim, Fire' or any of the band in general.
LOOK HOW ORIGINAL THEIR LYRICS ARE
"DESTROY YOUR ENEMIIIEEES"
|
| |
As i expected, the clean vocals are a bit annoying, his voice was better when it was damaged. Though it is more tolerable than on The Poison.
Not a bad song, a standard BFMV track. But you gotta admit, for a widely hated band like they are (at least on here), there is some great guitarwork in there. The riff is awesome.
|
| |
I enjoy their music, is it amazing, no, but it's enjoyable and that's why I listen to music.
|
| |
Yeah exactly. I expected that kind of comments as PirateSquid's, but honestly, I don't see what's to brag about. This is WAY better than some of the other mallcore shit out there, let alone their early material itself.
BigHans pretty much nailed it
|
| |
They still sound like pirates.
|
| |
i dont really care that they're trash... i don't hate them.
dont really care either way, but i'm ok when they come up on shuffle.
sorta the same thing with other objectively bad bands like angels and airwaves and yo la tengo...
|
| |
"I dont care what anyone says about Bullet, 'Tears Dont Fall" rapes"
And also copies and pastes key parts from Finch's "What It Is To Burn".
|

wow this was awesome. made me lol, so true. at least some users are self-aware
|
| |
Song is fucking awesome!
|
| |
A little surprised by this song myself. Wouldn't say they're reinventing the wheel with this song, but it's pretty good
|
| |
Not a big fan of the chorus, as that is true with most Bullet songs, but dammit the rest is amazing.
|
| |
Not bad at all. I wish they continued to use the gutturals they used on "Scream Aim Fire" (which they kinda did), but overall Tuck's vocals sound much better. Scene kid's fap all over Padge's guitar playing, but he's pretty average.
|
| |
Ah guys, you make me proud
TheSpirit: Average in an awesome way??? Just kidding, but I think he is pretty competent
|
| |
Intro riff is cool
|
| |
but I think he is pretty competent
I'd say he's competent, wouldn't go further though
|
| |
Meh i don't think so. He really masks the fact that he's average with a wah-wah pedal. His soloing is just a bunch of easy tapping runs and slow sweeps.
|
| |
Hey! That was pretty good. The only thing I didn't realy dig was that the vocals in the chorus were way too clean. Waaaaaay clean. I liked when Tuck had this slight rasp in his cleans. Otherwise it was a decent song though
I wish they continued to use the gutturals they used on "Scream Aim Fire" (song) I agree with this. They weren't the world's best, but imo fit pretty well.
|
| |
I like this, actually lol
|
| |
Song KILLSLLLSLSLSLSSSSS!
Just like their lyrics.
And their fans.
lol
|
| |
I am loving the harsh vocals on this song.
|
| |
So Attack Attack! and BMFV making enjoyable songs in 2010? I guess this only means they'll probably be released pretty good albums in 2012 which is signify the apocalypse we've all been wondering about.
|
| |
Both those bands are releasing new albums this year, guy.
|
| |
Attack Attack! still sucks
|
| |
Both those bands are releasing new albums this year, guy. .
I know i'm just saying that these two bands have shown some slightly impressive progression over the past two years. They've gone from pretty awful in 2008 (only Scream Aim Fire in BFMV's case) to pretty decent in 2010. If they keep up this progression and seeing how bands usually release an album every 2 years, that means by 2012 will see the bands releasing pretty good albums. Which will lead to the apocalypse.
|
| |
I understood spirit, seems like bloc's a little slow today...
|
| |
@theacademy
cheers man, seriously though if anyone showed me insect warfare before I joined this site I would have shouted "screamo! eww" in their faces and ran off like a teenage scene girl, more to the point songs pretty good, Its funny imaging Matt Tuck in gay roleplay though "im on the hunt, im on the prowl, i can almost taste you noww!"
|
| |
I used to really dig this band a few years ago when I was just getting into metal.. they are one of the only "intro to metal" bands that I still find myself enjoying. Yeah, its pretty radio friendly shit and it doesn't really showcase anything spectacular, but somehow it's still fun to listen to. Song was pretty sick... nice riffs and intensity and lots of harmonics (which I'm a sucker for). I also quite liked the harsh vocals.. sounded pretty raw. Hope the rest of the CD sounds like this song- it's pretty much better than anything off their last one.
|
| |
Haha seriously, how could I come to that conclusion from what you said, Spirit? Dunno how the hell JWT was able to get that lol.
|
| |
Meh
|
| |
The chorus kind of brings it down, but the rest of it is pretty damn good. I'm suprised.
|
| |
@ Kubrick
almost better than everything but not quite, because, you know, Scream Aim Fire had "Last To Know" which was pretty badass. I also really liked the title track because it had more of a thrash feel to it than the rest of the album.
|
| |
Yeah, I haven't spun Scream Aim Fire in at least a year so that was kind of a general statement. There were definitely some good songs on that CD I'm not bashing it or anything.. I probably liked it more than a lot of other people did tbh. Still I feel like if this song had been on Scream, Aim, Fire it would've definitely been a highlight of the CD for sure... so hopefully the new one consists of more songs like this.
|
| |
Waking the Demon was also a sweet track. This song is awesome, don't know why you all hate the chorus, so much better then his raspy vocals.
|
| |
I don't know what part of BFMV I like better.
When they're making generic, boring heavy metal/metalcore or when they're stealing their interesting parts from other bands.
|
| |
There were definitely some good songs on that CD I'm not bashing it or anything... yeah there were, but there was too much filler. The good songs were pretty neat, but the amount of filler is keeping it at a 2.5 for me. And yaah, I didn't even think you're bashing, I just wanted to mention that "Last To Know" is badass haha
|
| |
Agreed.. Waking the Demon was easily one of the best tracks on the last one. And yeah I definitely
felt the chorus of this song was weak. It wasn't really the vocals themselves that bothered me.. but
it sounded like a very typical BFMV chorus. Like it had the same vocal rhythm and basic melody as a
lot of their other songs but it wasn't very catchy at all. Plus it took away from the intensity of
everything else.
@metalstyles: Yeah I have it at a 3. I agree it was definitely weak overall but I liked enough songs
for it to be a decent listen with moderate replay value.
|
| |
I'm just a sucker for clean choruses, must be my metalcore roots, haven't completely cleansed myself of em yet. I found it extremely catchy and to me it compliments the heavier parts, again though thats just me. Not sure what everyone else is hearing.
|
| |
pretty good song, the chorus isn't that great, but not enough to ruin the good bits for me
|
| |
It's a bit crap, but alot better than that mainstream metal sorta stuff that used to be around, eg Atreyu, Disturbed, etc.
|
| |
and the solo is actually pretty cool too
|
| |
Still average
|
| |
Hey they didn't become a Metallica tribute band, much to what I feared.
I can rest easy, and besides "Take It Out on Me", and "Waking the Demon"....those are actually pretty damn good I might say.
|
| |
well. time to throw away NONE SO VILE and go listen to BFMV. xD
|
| |
I'm still not sure why people prefer this and then say they hate Scream Aim Fire. Call me crazy, but this song has the exact same elements as any song off that album.
|
| |
Because its new ;)
|
| |
I'm Begging for Mercy for this shit to stop.
|
| |
U c wut he did thar? I c.
|
| |
'Song is miles better than the new Trivium track just released.'
New Trivium utterly destroys this song.
|
| |
@TheGiantCrunch hahahahahahahah
|
| |
i used to reallly like this guys, hand of blood ep and poision were really good, scream aim fire was a brown steamer.
|
| |
average
|
| |

Exactly
|
| |
assholes, i keep listening to that album now
|
| |
Sure you do
|
| |
Scream Aim Fire did have some gems, no question. I can at least stand it more than The Poison. And this is better than that new Trivium song.
|
| |
Cool track. Waaaaay better than the new Trivium song.
|
| |
lol my dog farting > new trivium
|
| |
They still sound like [butt] pirates.
Fixxxed. Really though, this isn't too shabby.
|
| |
It isn't horrible, but I don't really like it. Meh.
|
| |
U c wut he did thar? I c.
haha that cheered me up
|
| |
the link is down
|
| |
wow i never new you sounded like a normal user at one point in time acad
|
| |
