New The Red Paintings Track

2010-02-01 by Jom | 10 Comments
Brisbane-based The Red Paintings, temporarily residing in Los Angeles, California, USA, have released the title track to forthcoming debut LP The Revolution is Never Coming to the band's MySpace. While the album's release date has been relatively shrouded in secrecy, an official late Q1/early Q2 release date has been the most popular theory.

You must listen relatively quickly, though, because as they did with "Hong Kong," the stream will only be available for 24 hours.

Quite cool Xperimental beginning... Dont really like the rest of the song though... Some of the guitar beats and vocals brought to my mind mainstream emo-pop, although this is of course better.

After listening I must say I loved it, really hope this album comes out soon.

Isn't this a remake of an older song? I feel like I've heard ot before... asong that say "the revolution is never coming" in the chorus. I think I heard a a more stripped down version of this a long time ago.

This one is better.

I like this but the old one is better because it had a certain feel about it. I remember writing the lyrics out for this song a couple of years back. This version will grow on me though.

This is going to be an amazing album though.
