Lunik: New Album Update

2010-01-25 by Trey STAFF | 1 Comments
Lunik are set to release their new album, Small Lights in the Dark, on February 12, 2010 in Switzerland and April 30, 2010 for the rest of Europe and the UK.

Vocalist, Jael, explains how the album title came to be by reminding that, "...lights in the dark are a common sign of hope and I have realized to let go of my worries. Everything now just comes down to the songs themselves – they are my small lights”.

In addition, the band have opened up their new website to the general public. It currently features the track “People Hurt People” from the upcoming album, as well as a design motif similar to the album cover itself. Additional tracks from the album can be streamed at their official Myspace page.

Summing up her thoughts on the album, Jael had this to say: I dreamed about how this album would sound, how the songs would fit together. If I had to describe this record I would say that, ‘It is about a girl with a fragile voice stepping into a boys’ world.

Small Lights in the Dark Track List:

1. Everything Means Nothing
2. Falling Up
3. How Could I Tell You
4. I Can Just Be Me
5. People Hurt People

7. I Never Said That I Was Perfect

My expectations were kind of low, but after hearing the Myspace songs I am looking forward to this again.
