I was just about to post this. Mouthbreather shreds pretty hard... Can't wait for the new album.
| |
"i bled when i learned mike pedicone would no longer be on drums you fuckin SHITHEADS"
Mike Pedicone left them to play with Gavin Rosdale cuz he was up to his eyeballs in debt... you fuckin SHITHEAD
| |
Might be good, these dudes murder live
| |
i always have liked this band. good songs and look forward to new album
| |
new songs kick ass
| |
album will sure as hell be win, band kicks soo much ass and so does the new songs
| |
I know the new drummer, and my cousin did guest vocals on one of the new songs
nothing better than seeing them chant "W-I-L-D-CATS! W-I-L-D-CATS!" during a breakdown
| |
Wasn't the whole band in debt, and not just the drummer?
| |
The majority of them, but only the guitarist and singer stayed
| |
Yeah, that's what i thought. Sounds good, but I reckon this new album won't top Found In The Flood.
| |
I really need to relisten to that, I never really got into it.
Pass the Flask is my favorite
| |
It's obviously my favourite by them, probably becuase it contains their most Post Hardcore (I guess) songs in it. But then again, it does have 20+ minutes of completely uneeded electronic sampling in it.
| |
Pass the Flask is definitely their best so far. this sounds pretty good
| |
Just listened to Pass The Flask, interested
| |
these tracks sound good
errrm
| |
PTF is just complete win, there's a few tracks off of FITF that are worthwhile, namely Last American Cowboy, never listened to TST.
Mouthbreather was pretty nice, other one is good too.
Should be a fun album.
| |
Pass the flask is a classic but theyve been pretty terrible since then.
| |
these guys kill live. and i saw two people with converge shirts there. It was a good night.
| |
regardless, i will buy the album, get brutally drunk, smash my face repeatedly against the wall, and drive my motorcycle off the roof
| |
speaking of drunk, when i saw them two days ago, their bassist was hammered off his ass, literally fell off the stage twice. knocked a pa down. the rest of the band was like 'wtf?'. and even after he fell down, he kept playing. guys awesome.
i think it was his 21st bday actually, so yeah

This:

| |
Except not really.
| |
Silent Treatment is mostly overlooked but it had some standout moments for sure.
| |
saw them live late last year and was disappoint.
new songs are disappoint.
| |
Idk for me they've never released any material that I could give more than a 3.5. They seem like they'd be really fun live though.
| |
like this band... hope the new one is good and that they start making some money(somehow)...
| |
Wow, was actually pretty damn good.
| |
The only reason Pass The Flask gets so much praise it's because it was released when there weren't so many generic metalcore bands in 2003.
But it's great, nevertheless.
Anyway, I think Found In The Flood is their best work to date cause I'm a sucker for post-hardcore.
Silent Treatment was okay, with a few excellent songs, I'm sure Heat Fetish will be way better.
| |
I like..
| |
Sounds pretty decent. I haven't heard Found in the Flood, but I really like Pass the Flask and enjoy about half of Silent Treatment. I'll check this out.
| |
pretty kickass songs
if i were to get one album to get into these guys what should it be
| |
Pass the Flask.
| |
I'd say Found In The Flood but it's a bit different for them, so probably Pass The Flask. Silent Treatment is pretty 50/50.
| |
PTF is definitely my favorite, but I never understood why people didnt like Silent Treatment. Only remember a few off FITF.
| |
Band rules.
| |
I Never Met Another Gemini & The Last American Cowboy ftw, both found in the flood and pass the flask rule
| |
Like Dreamsoffew said, Silent Treatment is 50/50. There's good stuff on there but half of it is pretty lackluster.
