There was something wrong with the vocals on Tide and its Takers, but I heard that the singer was sick during the entire recording process.

It's the truth. 36CF used to be a great band with unique vocals and a sound of their own but then they've decided to produce cookie cutter bull shit ever since thier 2004 record. Fuck this band once more.

They've definitely moved into more traditional metalcore since RITF but they're still doing it better than most

Listen to their old stuff and you may not think that. Bitterness The Star and ASCR were amazing. Then again I love the last two as well. Pretty big fan of this band. Brock's vocals are the shit.

I dont understand the dislike for their latest offering. Sure it's more metalcore than what we're used to but i'll be damned if i say it's not leagues beyond what were used to hearing lyrically, instrumentally, as well as general songwriting. The drummer puts on a clinic through the entire album as well  .

So: 36 Crazyfists are basically the only Rock and Roll band I can listen to.
