After announcing the release of Eluvium's new album Similes, Pitchfork has posted a song off of the upcoming album.

The track is entitled "The Motion Makes Me Last" and gives Eluvium fans a taste of Matthew Cooper's vocals.

Yeah, when I listened to this song, it removed all the nagging little doubts I had about Eluvium being able to work with vocals. Awesome stuff.

it is surprisingly solid, even with vocals.

I don't listen to Snow Patrol, so I get a Eluvium + vocals vibe. When his voice comes in I get goosebumps. I cannot wait.

Props for the dig btw breesuschrist, Low is one of my favorite bands of all time.

With this, Hammock, Sigur Ros, Jonsi, Glissando and so much more, 2010's gonna be a hella awesome year.
