Sam Totman turns up drunk (well actually, all of them do). At one point he attempted to play the guitar with a can of Jack Daniel's in his hand. Needless to say he failed epically.
It is one thing to do the solos in the studio where if you fuck up you get as many chances to retry as you want. Live its a different matter, and they often miss notes and screw up entire sections.
To make things worse they are out of time with the drums and each other. Making the entire show a complete and utter shambles.

I saw DragonForce with Between The Buried And Me right when Alaska was coming out, and DragonForce played everything spot on perfect, and was more fun to watch than BTBAM.

(Note: I like BTBAM, and I think DragonForce is boring).

I really love that they did this. Bands who do these kind of things rule.

The reason for this is that at the end of the 2009 UK part of the Ultra Beatdown World Tour, the band will start writing a new studio album scheduled for release in 2011. They will need to focus totally on this

Meanwhile Scar Symmetry are able to recruit two new vocalists and write and record a new album all in about 3 days.

I saw Dragonforce with Cynic and Daath. (Mainly went for Cynic) I have to admit, they're good live. Don't judge them on that Graspop video anymore, they've improved A LOT.

Gingerbeard Man is correct, saw them Download fest, and they played really well. Im going to see them in a couple of weeks actually (but Im only really going to see Sylosis)
