Meh
| |
too british
| |
Ummm no. Nice try.
| |
this was expected
| |
7. Muse - The Resistance
17. Green Day - 21st Century Breakdown
These pissed me off the most I guess. They totally missed most of the great albums of 2009.
| |
hey look, 0 of these would be on mine
| |
joke
| |
once i saw kasabian at the top spot i kinda just tuned out
| |
I lol'd hard at 17.
| |
I'm on fire... dang, dang, dang, dang, dang... dang, dang, dang, dang...
| |
29 is good.....
| |
I like 30.
| |
still got 2 mnths wtf
| |
yea Q would
| |
why is a british music magazine focusing on british music wtf
| |
I understand us guys/girls posting premature "best of" lists, but come on. And to add insult to injury, atleast put ONE good album on there!!!
| |
Kasabian. Fucking KASABIAN?
| |
wheres ulcerate and panopticon???
but seriously, good to at least see mos def and phoenix.
| |
Nevermind this list of a worst of but I really liked the last three, could they have selected more washed-up has-beens?
| |
WAIT. 21st century breakdown beats out wilco the album...i think not. Of course, 21st century breakdown shouldn't be one there at all. I give Hannah Montana has more musical credit than that pile of garbage
| |
lol @ 7 and 17
| |
There's about 5 here I agree with - just more so disagree with their placement (especially amongst everything else). 2009 has been pretty epic for music as far as I'm concerned.
| |
the fact that OB4CL2 isn't even on this list makes it obsolete to me..
easily in the top 10 albums of the year
| |
The list is trying to keep its finger on the pulse but it is jammed too far up its own arse to be able to do so.
| |
At least they got Bat for Lashes right. Album rules.
| |
Sputnik is mad that there is no fun!
| |
123, atavan.
List fails hard. 2 is solid, but NOT a #2 of the year by any means. The rest are pretty much a WTF with a couple exceptions.
| |
Do you mean fun.?
| |
Yes, that what I said . . .sort of
| |
15 was a great disc and I agree with OBFCL 2 not being on there is an insult.
but all in all a fairly understandable list for a mainstream magazine? I dunno. Green day being on there at all made me sigh
| |
Premature is right, lol.
| |
List fails, hard.
| |
eh mos def?
| |
predictable
| |
They forgot the Hannah Montana - Movie OST... and Alice in Chains...
| |
Phoenix should be 1-50
| |
At least MPP and Lungs made it.
| |
Aw yeah, 2, 5 and 6
lolwat @ 7, 9 and 17
FUCK OFF 1 AND 30
wtf 31 isn't even out yet
| |
No Mono : (
| |
Ridiculously mainstream, typical Q list
| |
Didn't expect any different tbh
| |
given that it's a mainstream magazine, this isn't completely awful.
| |
Where is fun???
| |
lol what a piece of shit
| |
Q fucking sucks
| |
Q blows, none of these albums are even top 50 material.
| |
Well I'm really happy about Florence and the Machine at least.
| |
Aside from Devendra Banhart I didn't really see anything I cared for.
| |
oh my...not impressed.
| |
No Mew? No care.
| |
kasabian at #1 lol hilar
| |
"LOL IM INDIE"
| |
how the hell is U2 still on any lists?
| |
terrible list with very few hits.
| |
.......first off, half of these bands should not be on this list. ESPECIALLY GREEN DAY! That pissed me off so much. When will people start making lists of best albums w/o bias to genre. I think a list should include any and all Genre's. There is no way that bands like Thrice, MArs Volta, Brand New, etc. shouldn't be on this list. I am not saying those were the best albums, im just giving examples.
| |
can anyone explain to me why Kasabian get so much bum love when they are clearly are p*ss Poor ?
| |
the presence of 7 automatically kills the entire list regardless of 4, 5, 13, and 24
| |
Meh.
| |
lolwut
| |
Not a bad list, but some, like #1 and #2, are way overrated. Not much originality, either. Critics lists too often repeat each other.
| |
7. Muse - The Resistance
Disclaimer: Glenn Beck also assisted in the creation of this list.
| |
how could they have already heard biffy clyro?
its not even out yet
| |
list is a completely predictable psuedo-hipster-fest
| |
well 5 and 50 were my favorite albums of the year so it's nice to see them, but this list is still pretty bad.
| |
outer south is on here, there for this loses all credit.
| |
list is a completely predictable psuedo-hipster-fest
Hahahaha so true.
| |
too bad kasabian is fucking awful and so is a large majority of this list.
| |
Also, this list should be banished due to the fact that 2009 isn't over yet.
| |
hey wheres endgame
| |
Also, this list should be banished due to the fact that 2009 isn't over yet.
Nuh uh Q is so indie hipster that they even defy the laws of time. It isn't trendy.
| |
nothing but garbage indie rock.
| |
First time I've heard The Prodigy as indie rock. Cool.
| |
No Dredg?
| |
Way to much biasism, but it's expected since it is a British magazine. I really don't agree with much of it at all though.
| |
lack of bomb the music industry! makes me frowny face
| |
oh cool its NOVEMBER
| |
Happy New Year?
| |
No Crack the Skye? I am disappoint.
| |
bbbbbbbbbooooooooooooooooooooo
| |
Two words: What!?
| |
There is like no metal in that list... and this has been one hell of a year for metal.
| |
not exactly sure why you guys are surprised at the lack of metal on this list...Q doesn't even cover metal music for the most part
tbh, there are some good ones here, notably florence and the machine, phoenix, manic street preachers, lily allen, etc., but it's legitimacy is slightly ruined by everything else (seriously that kasabian album at #1 is ridiculous, as is mika or empire of the sun that high)
| |
who reads this shit
| |
2's good, but not tht good...
| |
other than 23 and 24...trash.
| |
U2 have out a pretty neat retro-y album.. would make most fans of pretty happy
21st century Green Day is great for them as far as hanging around.. and
my fave Ian Brown is a must have.. for stone roses fans as its very melodic and awesum.
a good year in music?? oh well whatever nevermind.. the end of good music.
Kiss have a new LP out.. but aside from 1 or 2 songs is horrible.
| |
Honestly the only list that matters is the Sputnik top 100. Nobody else will have Converge in the top 10.
| |
List is an epic failure.
| |
For the most part, the list is a fail, but I do like the inclusion of Animal Collective and
Monsters of Folk
| |
1. WAY too early for a best of the year list.
2. Where are the good albums at?
| |
i didn't realize springsteen and empire of the sun made the same album.
| |
wow what a wide range of music...........and LOOK! green day are obviously kicking ars again!...............................................................
| |
Among the all the obvious one that have already been mentioned what the hell is Invaders Must Die doing on here??
I waited 4 years for that album and that was the best they could come up with?
| |
This is a fucking joke, and everyone associated with the making of this list deserves to be hanged, drawn, and quartered immediately.
| |
^That's a bit much don't ya think?
How about a simple "ya fired"?
| |
19's good.
| |
Two Suns is too low. like most magazine album lists, it has its goods and its bads
| |
"Q polled british hipsters and british label managers for part of 2009, and has decided that these are the Top 50 albums across the world
for all of 2009".
| |
Wah put more Sputnik bands on waahhhh.
| |
They could've at least waited to see if the Deftones released their new one this year....jackasses
| |
only a few should be on there
| |
harghible
| |
Lily Allen at 8 is the biggest reason why I now won't be buying Q ever again. Kasabian at 1 comes a close second.
| |
lily allen's album is really good
| |
truth that lily allen will probably be on my list
| |
