VersaEmerge Full Length Album

2009-10-01 by K. Prince | 13 Comments
Pop-punk group VersaEmerge are short a drummer and are entering the studio.

After an odd three EPs, the band is finally succumbing to releasing a full-length studio album. After their Fueled By Ramen self-titled EP earlier this year, the band is starting preparations for their first album this fall.

Drummer Anthony Martone has also officially left the band. According to his Twitter account, Martone says "I'm No longer in versaemerge. [...] I am currently a drummer for hire." Martone's departure was allegedly due to "very serious personal reasons." The band is asking for less "excessive hate" regarding their decision to let him go.

I will be tentatively looking forward to it. There must have been a reason why they didn't wait a few months & release a full-length around about now. Maybe it was these "very serious personal reasons."

The Great Gatsby is awesome. This, however, is not. Guy was a great drummer. Still excited for this though.

im half kidding about the great gatsby. but did anybody actually spend a few minutes to see what their 'journal' was like. its pretty hilarious.

paraphrase:

'sierra's perspective:

so I was f*cking the dude from all time low when I started to think about one of the dudes in my band, and then all my girl parts went SWOOOOOOOOOON...

the guys in the band's perspective

man, i wanna nail sierra BUT I AM SO DAMAGED. I AM A FRAGILE MANBOY.'

and etc.
