release twoalbums with a third in the works titled The Black Parade ( setto be released Oct. 24th 2006 ). In 2002, they
released IBrought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, a collection of songsrecorded only three months after the
band's initialformation. An admirable achievement definitely, but even more surprising was the receptionthe album received.
Critically, it waslauded from many corners (and derided from many others) and led to support tours with established artiststhe
likes of Thriceand Taking Back Sunday.Signing to Reprise Records in 2003, the band set to work on their major label debut and
releasedThree Cheers For Sweet Revenge thenext summer. Eventually to go platinum, the album broke the band as a
fullymainstream outfit, with hit singles 'Helena,' 'I'm Not Okay' and'The Ghost of You' causing a stir on MTV and TRL alike.
Togetherwith bands like The Used, Panic! At The Disco et al., My Chemical Romancehave received much scorn for their
supposedly "emo"sound and image however with an ever-expanding fanbase, their apparent notorietyseems only to be helping
