Count to Altek Sestina
Beautiful nature recordings backed by the avant garde weirdness the active listener of Count to Altek has come to expect. The agression and heaviness is toned down greatly, however, and instead there is a focus of the instrumentals weaving together with the chirping birds to tell the story AAS had in mind while recording this EP. For what it is it's quite nice, but it's fairly meandering and the 3 tracks do blend together too much due to the lacking diversity on the instrumental side and the long lengths of the first and third tracks. Still, well worth a listen for anyone interested in the band.

The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Remix)
I wasn't too big on the original, it's actually one of my least favorite by the band because of how weak I felt most of Paul's tracks were. But this not only improves on the already incredible songs that were great, but Paul's tracks shine brighter than before. What is really responsible this immense improvement is that this remix' source material was the original master tapes of the songs. On top of this, Paul's bass has a tad bit more punch to them and the panning of the instruments is not that annoying extreme present on many 60s albums. Wiith the instruments and vocals all in the right place, the album truly embraces its legacy as a timel
