[i don't like screamo.] This album combines the screeching intensity of their previous works with a new approach that brings both originality and amazingness to the table. from the insanity of Trash Flavored Trash and Beautiful Horses that BB were best known for on earlier albums, to the mellow swooning melodies of Live At The Apocalypse Cabaret and the title track itself, Crimes cements its place in my head as the best hardcore album i've ever heard. the only thing that kills it is the barely-memorable Teen Heat, and the album closer Celebrator, where Johnny Whiney finally overdoes it. An otherwise perfect record. Highly recommended for that kid on your bus who thinks A Skylit Drive and Bring Me The Horizon are thee best bands on earth |
