Wendy Carlos Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange | 4.5 |
The production values here are impressive when considering its age. |
Radiohead In Rainbows | 4.0 |

Combichrist Scarred | 2.5 |
Kraftwerk Trans-Europe Express | 5.0 |

Wumpscut Music for a Slaughtering Tribe | 3.0 |
Velvet Acid Christ Fun With Knives | 4.0 |
De/Vision Noob | 3.5 |
Not their best effort, but definitely enjoyable. De/Vision's knack for creating irresitable pop-melodies are as infecting as ever. |
Suicide Commando Implements of Hell | 3.0 |
VNV Nation Of Faith, Power and Glory | 4.0 |
Combichrist Making Monsters | 3.5 |
Basically, this release is the final testament to what Combichrist is all about. It’s harsh, dance, cruel, unadulterated, profane, highly enraged, and it’s absolutely unoriginal. You can SMELL influence from Icon of Coil, and other Andy-related side projects. rBUT, if you can perfect presentation, more of the same is nice. That’s what Making Monsters is. The best rehash you’ll ever hear. It’s nothing that hasn’t been done elsewhere, but I’ll be damned if you can find me a something better. |
Combichrist What The Fuck Is Wrong With You People? | 4.0 |
Combichrist Noise Collection Vol. 1 | 3.5 |
Combichrist has thankfully evolved over the past 7 years, but the thumping beats and menacing aggression fueling this compilation of Andy's first few releases still make for a great listen, provided your brain can endure the torturous grind of power noise. |
Velvet Acid Christ The Art of Breaking Apart | 3.5 |
Velvet Acid Christ Lust For Blood | 4.0 |
While not exactly breaking tons of new ground, regarding both VAC's sound and industrial music in general, this terrific album offers some great sounding songs, filled with varying landscapes and colorful vistas for yours ears to behold. The music here is undeniably powerful, but considering that this type of music saturates the electro-industrial genre, things may not seem as fresh as you'd like.
But thats okay in the end, considering how solid everything is. |
Front Line Assembly Monument | 3.0 |
Front Line Assembly Re-Wind | 3.5 |
Combichrist Everybody Hates You | 4.0 |
VNV Nation Matter and Form | 3.5 |

Paul Oakenfold Bunkka | 3.0 |
Paul Oakenfold Swordfish | 4.5 |
Front Line Assembly The Initial Command | 4.0 |
Front Line Assembly Gashed Senses & Crossfire | 3.5 |
The experimental and incredibly dark sounds of Gashed Sense unfortunately make this album inaccessible, but looking past that (and the abundant filler tracks) will reward you with a unique FLA experience. Antisocial is definitely an underappriciated song. |
