Arsonists Get All the Girls The Game Of Life3.5
This album is great. It has a wide variety with unique parts that catch your attention and solid riffs that will hold it. Sure you could say that some parts are simple but the album as a whole is unique without taking it over the edge.

Messengers is simply amazing. If you don't get this album asap, you are one deprived soul. This is a heavyweight contender for metal album of the year. This is anything but generic. From the off-beat symbols to the unique time signiture of the guitar riffs, this is the most exciting album of the year hands down.

As I Lay Dying An Ocean Between Us4.5
As I Lay Dying's, An Ocean Between Us, is mind blowing to say the least. In a time when new-releases from solid bands just seem to be mediocre and boring, As I Lay Dying rises from the ashes to give us another classic. Each time they change their sound they are succesful, and this album is no exception. With the addition of a slight thrash feel and an increase in solos, As I Lay Dying proves that they deserve to remain the leaders in metalcore.
