fungus amongus is a superb album when it comes right down to something that makes you want to get up and dance or sing or just move. there's something in the funk and rap that entertwines with the rock and superb bass work. the vocals are, of course, wel suited to the music and Brandon's range makes him a separate instrument. the album is, odd, in a word. but the perfect kind of odd that gives a band a lot of dedicated fans. this is the soundtrack to vaste, pulsing amounts of humanity moving together.

dredg El Cielo5.0
this album is an ethereal experience that manages to make you feel evanescent in the nicest way. el cielo is one of the smoothest collections of emotions ever to be delivered to the public and is undoubtedly dredg's greatest accomplishment. revolving around the concepts of sleep paralysis and the subconscious thought process all the songs, meldoic vocals and haunting melodies fit together perfectly. and not only does dredg have in its composition of one of the greatest lyricists in music, their original and diverse song configurations and use of unique instruments as well as plethora of music styles span several genres and make the album unbearably and effortlessly beautiful and diverse. scissorlock, same ol' road, the canyon behind her, woah is me...it's hard to pick a few when the whole album is spectacular.
