An interesting exercise in pop music, but doesn't offer anything new except perhaps the textures. If you thought that so-called "emo" revival was whiny and annoying, you will find even more to hate with an album like this, which takes the annoyance to a new level using the kind of pop-electronica cliches that I expect to hear when I turn on the radio to a local station. Luckily the album is not quite as bland and tasteless as the radio stuff, so I'm being generous and giving this a 2.0.
