While there isn't really anything particularly revolutionary about the album, there's also nothing much to fault it for and quite a bit on it to love. Alcest Shelter3.5(I figured that the album didn't need another full review, so here are my thoughts): "Opale" is Shelter's highlight and downfall. While all of the other songs are enjoyable on their own, they just flat out don't compare to "Opale" at all. In a sense, "Opale" is like a young, vibrant couple frolicking on the beach and the others an endearing elderly couple on a casual stroll; sure, they're both tender scenes, but the latter scenario just doesn't stay as interesting as the former scene over an extended period of time.
