Iron Chic Not Like This | 5.0 |
This is my favorite album of 2010. The songs were always stuck in my head and I listened to this all the time. Insanely catchy, great lyrics, fast tracks, slow tracks, singalongs, etc. I can't ask for much more. |
Formlessness The World is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer... | 3.0 |
Wavves King of the Beach | 3.5 |
Despite what people say about Nathan Williams and their live performance, this album was perfect for summer 2010. The moment I put it on, I feel like I'm in 90+ degree weather and basking in the heat. Nothing life changing here, but lots of fun. |
Arcade Fire The Suburbs | 5.0 |
My favorite Arcade Fire album and a true classic for me. Starts off perfectly and ends perfectly. Arcade Fire takes all their best qualities from previous releases and doesn't overdo some things like on Neon Bible. Plus, these are their most relatable lyrics yet. Reminds me of driving around in the summer of 2010 and makes me want to drive around the places I used to live and feel nostalgic. I wish everyone 'got' this album. |
