Periphery Periphery II: This Time It's Personal3.5
If there's one big negative thing about having periphery in our world, its that it turns Sputnikmusic's users into a bunch of colossal faggots (and by that I mean worse than they usually are). Albums really awesome but has some filler and doesn't quite have the rhythm of their first album. Also why is This Time It's Personal in the title of the album. That was a joke make by the band that I can't believe you guys took seriously. The CD and the CD booklet don't even mention the phrase 'This Time It's Personal'. So not only are most of Sputnik's Users wankers, their also idiots too.
Ne Obliviscaris Portal of I4.0
It's a incredible showing of the bands potential despite feeling bloated at times with many unneccessary sections. Although the violin player here is a surprise standout.

Seriously enjoying this. There is so much potential on display here.

Lets listen to this and the new brokencyde this november
A Lot Like Birds Conversation Piece3.5
Some really excellent songs let down by some very average singles. Could of been so much better with more polish and feels so disjointed from their very interesting Plan B

Circle Takes the Square Rites of Initiation3.5
A short but sweet little treat to draw as into the soon to be released Decompositions Vol.I

Competent at best but most of the variety has been killed for gimmicks that don't add or change anything to the formula

Amia Venera Landscape The Long Procession5.0
It hard to combine so many styles and succeed with it. Amia Venera Lanscape have done it here with complete finesse, so what the ambient sections to go on for a little too long >cough ascending cough< but I can look past it because everything is so well crafted here.
My Chemical Romance Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys1.5
A Day To Remember What Separates Me from You2.0
Some alright pop punk let down by average metalcore. Another step in the wrong direction. This is a long way from their great for those who have heart album
Chiodos Illuminaudio4.5
Linkin Park A Thousand Suns3.5
Woe, Is Me Number[s]3.0
Tyler Carter's voice is the highlight of this otherwise decent metalcore album although is way too overproduced to sound interesting

Once you're in the right mind set then this album is a lot of fun to listen to. There is a lot of genre mixing going on here though so you may not find some of it to be of your taste. It's worth checking out though simply for its almost Japanese-like quirkiness.

Converge No Heroes3.0
While it has some true gems on here such as the title track and grim heart/black rose, its lacks coherence and structure. The first 5 songs go for 6 minutes and the last 5 five just feel like a giant mess. It still enjoy the album but it is in the unfortunate position of being compared to previous albums. And sadly, No Heroes doesn't quite hold up.
