A good friend of mine turned me onto these guys and I immediately bought this album. Several repeats later, I knew I had found a new love. Progressive metal was something I was very unfamiliar with, but having listened to this album almost religiously (as well as Remission and Leviathan) I can easily say that progressive music has worked it's way next to my bloody heart.
On a lighter note, almost every song is absolutely brilliant. Their music takes me to another world. A world where tree people run with death and apparently I'm searching for crystal. Overall, Blood Mountain is overly powerful and strangely spiritual. A must-have for fans of progressive music of any kind.

Beautiful instrumentation. I've only recently discovered this album and this band and I can't wait to become extremely familiar with all of their material. Unbelievable.

I love this album because of the emotions that it brings out in me. I've never heard an album quite like this one that has such smooth layers that sound like you can just lay your head on the melody and fall fast asleep.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony E 1999 Eternal4.5
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's classic E. 1999 Eternal, named after a fictional street intersection in the "Land of the Heartless", is undoubtedly Bone Thugs' strongest album and indeed a landmark album in rap history. I've never heard a flow quite like that of the Bone family. The speed and articulation of their words makes one truly miss the days of the "old school" when rapping was an art, a skill, or to some, a lifestyle.
E. 1999 also features an interest in the occult as the members rap about Ouija boards and their apparent influence on their fate. E. 1999 is incredibly brutal and completely deserving of the Parental Advisory sticker. First time listeners may be put off by the high amount of violence and drug use expressed through the lyrics, however those whom are fans of gangsta rap and the undeniable talent of a quick rhyme.... I welcome you to the Darkside.
