Britney Spears Blackout4.0
Chamillionaire Ultimate Victory3.0
Kanye West Graduation3.0
Emanuel Black Earth Tiger2.0
As I Lay Dying An Ocean Between Us3.5
Drop Dead, Gorgeous Worse Than A Fairy Tale3.0
Catherine The Naturals3.0
A big improvement over their entirely forgettable debut, one of the better metalcore discs to come out this year (though that isnt saying much considering the lack of quality releases in said genre thusfar)
Dance Gavin Dance Downtown Battle Mountain3.5
Emarosa This Is Your Way Out3.0
Its decent straightforward poppy 'screamo' with synths, much like Nevea Tears, No Hollywood Ending, Early Scary Kids and the like. The Devil Wears Prada comparisons are way off, aside from the synths TDWP play an entirely different genre (That being Metalcore), whereas this band has no traces of metal throughout the whole of the ep.
Emmure Goodbye To The Gallows3.0
If your in the mood for earthshattering breakdowns and satisfyingly processed heavy screams, this album is the be all-end-all. Just dont expect anything revolutionary, or even relevant to, well, anything in general other than to satisfy your immediate need to listen to something "holy shit" heavy.

2005
Foxy Shazam The Flamingo Trigger3.5
Into Eternity Buried in Oblivion5.0

2004
Atreyu The Curse3.0
If your into this style (ie; casual listener) this album is sure to please, and those of you can add an extra point to the rating. Those with higher expectations will either cringe or give it rare occasional listens. They have pretty much progressed(?) from metal(core) adding heavier "emo" themes and rock/pop themes and the newest album.

2003
Haste The Mercury Lift4.0
Very underrated, explorative generally fun post-hardcore album featuring guest vocals from randy blythe (lamb of god) on "a god reclaims his throne", as well as some fantastic sung/screamed dynamics from several of the members of the band. Essential for fans of the genre interested in a fairly unique take on the genre.
Cursive The Ugly Organ5.0
2001
Converge Jane Doe5.0

2000
Orgy Vapor Transmission4.5
1993
Carcass Heartwork5.0
1984
Metallica Ride the Lightning5.0
Legendary album, filled my metal-loving highschool years with immense joy. Essential to any fan of thrash, metal, or anyone who enjoys anything featuring electric guitar in general.
