Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip Logic of Chance1.5
While Dan le Sac has upped his game on the duo's second album, Scroobius Pip's lyrical ability rarely shines through. The beats save the album from being totally abysmal, as does Last Train Home, but as a whole, It's probably not unfair to say that Logic of Chance is entirely forgettable

We Are The Physics Are OK at Music2.0
Nothing special from Glasgow's first (and possibly only) "mutant science punk rock" band. "OK at music" is a weak album propped up by one or two very listenable tracks

2007
Thrice The Alchemy Index Vols. I & II4.5
There are bands who should never touch the idea of a concept- Green Day, for example. However, there are bands who can, and should utilise the niché. Thrice's Alchemy Index looks to prove the formerly post-hardcore, now somewhat genre hopping giants, are firmly part of the second category. Fire correlates more with previous albums like Illusion of Safety, with a strong heavy element running through it. Water, by way of contrast, is like a more angular, and more rewarding Vheissu, with Thrice's relatively new-found lightness providing the tone. Thrice have a tough act to follow with the second Alchemy Index set, as this one is pretty damn near perfect
Radiohead In Rainbows3.0
Digitalism Idealism3.5
A great album with some amazing tracks on it, but let down seriously by others. "Digitalism in Cairo" is probably the best track on the album

Muse Absolution Tour2.0
When a band who are acclaimed as the Best live act in the world put out a second live DVD, you would think it would be stellar, right?
So Wrong
Absolution tour is an anti-climax of a DVD that could and should have been so much better, saved from being abysmal by a few brilliant extras, this DVD is sub-par at best.

Muse Random 1-84.0
Whilst Random 1-8 is not an EP for the casual Muse listener, it still easily contains some of their best work. With songs like Forced In and Agitated showing the less radio-friendly side of their talents and songs like Coma showing the mix of good hooks and a slight poppiness that would serve them in good stead. As already said, not a CD for the casual listener, but for Muse fans old and new, this is a good purchase.
