2020
Noija Through Fire All Things Are Renewed3.5
Hollow Front Loose Threads4.0
Currents The Way It Ends3.0
Much weaker than I Let The Devil In. I left disappointed because it seemed like with Poverty of Self they found a good niche.
Off Road Minivan Swan Dive2.5
The new tracks are forgettable and lifeless. I really hoped to like this coming from their last
EPs.

2019
Corpsessed Beyond Abysmal Thresholds4.0
Remaster of their 2014 LP that delivers the production quality that was missing.
Dayshell Mr. Pain2.0
Just an album filled with nothing that is at forgettable at its best and cringe at its worst. Boring pop-influenced garbage.

Horrible: Kombat
Okay: Runaway
Torments Endless Waves3.5
Melodic metalcore with hints of djent. Pretty standard but still worth listening to. Cleans can be grating at times.
Weeping Hour Hunger and Thirst4.5
How does this not have more ratings lol this is fire through and through

Edit: Very christian band actually, who knew!
Heart of a Coward The Disconnect3.0
Rogue Anomaly4.0
Some of the lyrics are kinda cringe but this is some top-tier prog metalcore otherwise. The chugging/breakdown at the end of Divide in itself merits a listen.
Kaleikr Heart of Lead4.0
Loses steam during internal contradiction and neurodelirium, but picks up again just in time. Vocals are next level.
Noctambulist Atmospheres of Desolation3.5

2018
Currents I Let the Devil In4.5
The Parallel (CAN) Weaver3.0
The generic growls really just ruin this. Thankfully I can just listen to the second half of this LP and ignore them.
Corpsessed Impetus of Death4.5
Somehow, even though the song is over 10 minutes long, Starless Event Horizon maintains my attention throughout. This is honestly some next-level stuff.
AVIIRA Relentless2.0
Outre Hollow Earth5.0
Outre's innovative apocalyptic album never loosens its grip.
Gorod Aethra3.0
The Healing Hollow Earth3.5
The choruses do well to create a memorable identity for most of the songs, and complement
the heavy hitting sections. Unfortunately, some elements that were chosen completely kill
the vibe of a couple tracks.
Hollow Front Still Life4.5
Don't Fall Asleep, Backbone, Nothing Lasts Forever, and Still Life are really just as good as it gets. The others are pretty forgettable but don't take away from the overall quality of the album.
Pridelands Any Colour You Desire4.0
The EP isn't really exemplary as a whole but Machina in itself merits a 4.
Inferi (USA) Revenant4.5
Dead Crown Come Hell2.0
Dead Like Juliet Stranger Shores3.5
This sounds like something I've never heard before. Refreshingly upbeat and satisfyingly technical. I'm not a fan of chants but they pull it off.
Thirty Seconds to Mars America1.0
So many songs on here sound like literally anything you'd hear on a christian radio station... how did they manage to fuck up their sound so much
Eternal Void Catharsis (Reissue)3.5
Some tracks are a bit bland and the clean sections seem uninspired but it's worth a listen.
Petroglyphs Ascension4.0
Sick vocals and some really interesting riffs/melodies (with very few cleans if you're into that). A couple tracks near the end are lacking but the LP is damn good overall.
Thornhill Butterfly4.5
Expertly crafted songs. There really isn't a bad song on this EP.
Off Road Minivan Spiral Gaze3.0
If this were a review of the song Spiral Gaze instead of the whole EP, it'd be a 4.5.
For the Fallen Dreams Six2.0
I belly laughed because of the breakdown in Forever. Uninspired, predictable, and flat out annoying at parts. It's kind of a shame that the screams are as good as they are.
Erdve Vaitojimas4.5
Tanuki The Fire. The Fear. The Fall2.5
Monument of a memory Ex-Mortis3.5
If it weren't for Cold Eyes and House of Glass, this would be a 4.
Brojob Talk Shit Get Kissed1.0

2017
Harmed From Day One2.5
Defecto Nemesis2.5
Kardashev The Almanac4.5
The Almanac is a beautifully cohesive EP that manages to never lose your full attention. It's relaxing, powerful, and at some points chill-inducing.
Thousand Below The Love You Let Too Close4.5
Insanely catchy and surprisingly aggressive. There are a handful of songs on here that I keep coming back to.
Celeste Infidele(s)4.5
Novelists Noir3.5
These guys are so insanely talented. Sometimes their focus is a bit hazy (imo often coming off more in the "heavier" sections), but when they hit the mark they really kill it. They strike a balance between prog, metalcore, and top-tier cleans. Honestly, I feel like if they just ditched the metalcore altogether they'd be better off because everything else ties together so impossibly well.
Eastern High Garden of Heathens3.5
Not a fan of the vocals but some of this is too catchy to miss.
Currents The Place I Feel Safest4.0
It's obvious that there is a specific sound they are going for here but they run a little too far with it and so the album feels like it blurs together sometimes. That said, there are too many killer tracks to ignore.
Slugdge The Cosmic Cornucopia4.5
Our Hollow, Our Home Hartsick2.5
Can be really catchy during the choruses but the growls are the most generic growls you've ever heard. I can't even bring myself to get halfway through the album but if you aren't offended by the growls then you'll enjoy it.
Curses (USA) Chapter I: Introspect2.0
Arkive Sonder4.0
They really seem to have found their sound. The vocals are much less abrasive and overall
there's a noticeable balance. Luminous is a masterpiece.
2016
Departe Failure, Subside5.0
Departe absolutely nails a unique gritty, atmospheric, and melancholic sound.
Glasslands Pariah3.0
They have an interesting sound that sometimes they absolutely kill but it's wildly inconsistent from one song to the next.
Departures Death Touches Us, From The Moment We Begin To Love4.0
Bilmuri Bilmuri4.5
Sithu Aye Set Course for Andromeda4.0
Set Course for Andromeda is a prime example of how cohesive an instrumental album can be. It tells a very clear story but some sections (not entire songs) fall flat and listening becomes more of a chore at that point; however, there are some real gems in here, especially Set Course for Andromeda!!! It has so many different and interesting themes and tempos that are masterfully strewn together, and I keep coming back for more.
Zhrine Unortheta4.0
Slice the Cake Odyssey to the West4.0
After the Burial Dig Deep2.5

2015
Aepoch Aepochalypse3.0
Heart of a Coward Deliverance4.0
Several of the tracks are interchangeable but Skeletal I and II are instant classics.
Rivers of Nihil Monarchy4.0
Stories (AUS) The Youth to Become3.0
Abyssal (UK) Antikatastaseis4.0

2014
Arkive Untitled EP3.0
Dude's voice is impressive but gets old quick. Nonetheless, I commend them for being able
to create songs this memorable on an EP this short. Even though it isn't perfect, Golden
Vines quickly became something that I keep coming back to.
Silent Screams Hope for Now2.5
There's no defining sound and some songs are downright cringe-inducing. Going through the entire thing, I think Guiding Light and Hope for Now are the best signs that there is hope for this band in the future.
Corpsessed Abysmal Thresholds4.0

2013
Celeste Animale(s)4.0
Strangers To Wolves Lost Boys3.5
Let's just not talk about Here's to the Best...

2012
Elitist Reshape Reason4.5
Periphery Periphery II: This Time It's Personal3.0
Without the initial novelty Spencer's vocal range, Periphery II misses more often than it hits. I think good examples of what they did well in this album were Facepalm Mute, Scarlet, and Mile Zero. The others, I have become tired of skipping over.
2011
ERRA Impulse5.0

2010
Celeste Morte(s) Nee(s)3.5

2009
Celeste Misanthrope(s)3.5

2008
Celeste Nihiliste(s)3.5
