Above Symmetry Ripples3.5
Solid progressive metal. It's pretty good, with nice guitar work and a pretty interesting sound. It just ends up feeling like almost all other progressive metal, though; very unoriginal.

Great! I love some of the rhythms and the orchestra was excellent. Normally I'm not that into the harsher vocals, but i can deal with it here.
Bloodbound Tabula Rasa4.5
Constancia Lost and Gone4.0
A great album! I thought that it had great imagination, but was still refreshingly simplistic. A must listen.

I think that this is one of the best power/symphonic metal albums ever released, as well as one of the best albums overall. The songs are heavy, melodic, tight, emotional, driven, and amazing.

Great album with amazing choruses and a great vocalist.
Powerwolf Blood of the Saints4.5
Powerwolf somehow manages to outdo the excellent Bible of the Beast with their heaviest, yet somehow their most symphonic, album to date. If you have the change to get the deluxe edition, I would really recommend it. The bonus cd is easily worth the few extra bucks. One of the great things about this band is that it appeals to so many different genres of metal lovers. Symphonic metal, power metal, heavy metal, werewolf metal... Just try it out!
