I LOVE THIS ALBUM. It's geat for working out and, shit, it's great for when you want to smash someone's face in. I read the review of this album, and i have to say... I think they stayed at that particular tempo, because it works for them and the music they play.

As I Lay Dying An Ocean Between Us4.0
I really enjoyed this album. I was a bit skeptical of their work on this album at first, but as i kept lstening, it started to dawn on me... This music was great, and it had a message. Now, said message was not always prevolent in the lyrics, but you could see it. Great songs, great lyrics. Good album.
Atreyu The Curse3.5
Atreyu Lead Sails Paper Anchor4.0
I know they strayed from their metalcore style, as seen on A Death-Grip On Yesterday and The Curse, but hey, you have to appreciate this music. Now, I know that they go by a simple formula (Intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, breakdown etc.) but it works for them! They went toal mainstream on all of their prior fans, but if they can't stop and enjoy this music, then they're not true Atreyu fans.
August Burns Red Messengers4.5
F*** ALL YOU HATERS! August Burns Red KICKS ASS.
Well...
SATAN'S ASS!
Avenged Sevenfold Waking the Fallen4.5
Quite possibly their best album. It's a shame that Avenged Sevenfold strayed from the screaming in City of Evil. I enjoyed that album very much, but i think their ultimate forte was on this album. Great album, huge A7X fan.
Killswitch Engage As Daylight Dies4.5
Protest the Hero Fortress4.5
I had never heard of these guys until I picked upt he album off iTunes at the request of a friend. The first track: Blood Meat, blew my mind. I mean, how can you mix Coheed &Cambria-style vocals with high pitched screams and deep growls. However Rody Walker does it, he does it well. I was also amazed by some of the drum licks in that opening track. He combines simple strokes along with stops and breaks in his double bass rolls to make one hell-of-a beat. I loved this album, and I'm still listening to it today.
Scar Symmetry Holographic Universe4.0
Suicide Silence The Cleansing3.0
While there is no lyrical ability on this album, the screaming guitars and explosive blast beats make up for a little bit of the stuff that's lost. I liked how the vocals sounded. I didn't like that they were fake. I saw Suicide Silence in concert... And maybe it wasn't his night.. But likewise Mitch Lucker sang half of their songs. And it sucked. NEVER SEE THEM IN CONCERT. EVER.
