Aiden Nightmare Anatomy1.0
Alexisonfire Crisis4.5
It's to the point, very well played, melodic and still right in the face.
Superb Vocals by every three of them by the way.

Arch Enemy Rise of the Tyrant3.5
Arch Enemy Doomsday Machine5.0
First of all: I'm a huge fan of the Amott's guitar work.
I love the way how they express their skills in their music.
Especially on Doomsday Machine.
In my opinion it's their most harmonious CD so far. Instrumental absolutely noble (awesome melodies combined with brutal riffs and skills). Not to mention the baneful Vocals by Mrs. Gossow.

Guitar, Bass and Drums deliver nothing noteworthy but their singer is pretty good. Catchy Pop-Rock overproduced as hell.

Protest the Hero Kezia4.0
Protest the Hero Fortress4.5
On this CD you can find:
- a crazy bastard on vocals (awesomeness!)
- some stoned guys playing awesome riffs
- an even more stoned guy pulling off some of the most extreme rhythm changes I've ever heard
This CD is epic.

This album makes sense as long as you've seen the movie. Otherwise it delivers you a little bit Rock, a little bit Metal and a little bit Punk with somehow funny lyrics.
The Black Mages Darkness And Starlight4.5
The Mars Volta De-Loused in the Comatorium4.0
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Don't You Fake It2.5
Here and there you can find some cool hooks, but that's it. Hate the singer.

Thrice summon an awesome atmosphere with this album. It's gloomy and heavy at times without losing the sense for melodies. I Like it.

Zebrahead Waste Of MFZB3.5
Zebrahead Broadcast To The World4.0
This is such an underrated band.
It's Pop-Punk, somehow yeah. But far better Pop-Punk than Blink & co ever did. They took the genre with their songwriting to the next level.
