Still have yet to actually pay attention to the lyrics and find out the story they dreamed up, but musically it's incredibly solid. It comes across much more serious than most of these "epic fantasy" concept albums most power metal bands put out. Awesome stuff and great guest vocals as well.

To be honest this let me down a lot. There is a good selection of music ranging from the earliest of Zelda games all the way to Skyward Sword, but the drastic rearrangements of some of the old songs are a spit in the face to their original design. Put on Gerudo Valley for example and you won't even recognize it. Would have also preffered more tracks, since Ocarina of Time alone has a ton of memorable tunes. But at the end of the day it's still nice to hear some of the better Zelda songs finally orchestrated.

Not a band I would normally dig, but this album was actually pretty good especially "She Had the World." Only thing I can really complain about is that very few songs have much energy. All of the material is pretty laid back and gets a bit boring if you listen to a large amount of the album in one sitting.

What a huge letdown. The potential for some cool machine-esque sounds and layers to really add atmosphere to this man vs machine album went straight down the drain. Most songs sound similar with only a few standout tracks. This is Symphony X simply going through the motions. Putting out an average album from a band that normally delivers brilliance just isn't acceptable.

Definitely a return to form. The production is tight, the songwriting is very dynamic, heavy yet melodic, and it'll make any guitar player giddy with joy. There's counterpoint lines on this album that would make even Bach jealous.

Not anything too special. Very generic gothenburg melo-death metal plus breakdowns. Only thing worthwhile about the album were the also somewhat generic solos. The title track is worth checking out though.
