| Although not so much the concept album some hyped it as, Colors is nothing short of epic. It's title suits it; numerous genres, elements, and forms are incorporated throughought the length of the record - structural technicality, raw dissonance, beautiful melody, chaotic yet subtle variety, an element of surprise and even homor can be cited. It's difficult to classify Between the Buried and Me; many of their influences from Queen to Dreamtheater to Earth Crisis are evident. It's equally as diffucult to adequately describe this album, which is why i'm finished despite all the praise I have could still give. Let your ears be the judge. |

| This album is honestly not even worth reviewing, I'm only doing it as a way to vent. Horrible, horrible lyrics over cookie-cutter rap metal riffage. Fred Durst's shrill, nasal whining is sure to give you a serious case of tenitis. They were never good to begin with, yet somehow, "Limp Bizkit" manages to become more disjointed, cliche and desperate with each album. |

Absolutely my favorite Radiohead album to-date. Ok Computer raised the bar for alternative/progressive music in the 90's, and it's been a standard for and inspiration to musicians and music fans ever since. Every track is memorable, original, and catchy, all the while evading the cliche and the overdone. Great musicianship, unforgettable melodies and refreshing variety are all incorporated into a smoothly flowing, classic album by Radiohead.
