| ETSD is a good documentary given the circumstances. This band had never made a film about themselves when they made this, and they were still on the rise after the release of the blue album in 1995. This album has some highlights like the live songs, especially Chad Sexton's drum solo during Applied Science. The interviews with the band members are also pretty interesting, but there are some parts on this film that get pretty boring and they seem to drag on for too long. For instance, the parts where it shows them smoking weed for like 15 minutes (maybe not that long, but still) and the interviews with the sound crew and management. This is pretty funny though and it's a good film to watch when you're stuck inside and you're bored. |

| Music is probably the best debut album I've ever heard. A lot of people say that it's a shame that 311 can't make a better album than this one. That's saying a lot for a band that had no national recognition prior to this release and really didn't know what they were doing when they made the record. Most of the songs from this album would be considered classics by many 311 fans. Songs like Freak Out, Unity, Hydroponic, Nix Hex, Feels So Good, and Do You Right. Not to mention the hidden track at the end of the album which is probably the harshest, most "in-your-face" song ever recorded by the band. This album deserves a perfect 5, especially after you consider this being their first full length production, and their first album released on a major label. |

| Soundsystem is one of the best, if not, the best 311 album out there. It definitely has the best album cover of any 311 album, but that's off the subject. From start to finish, this album will absolutely blow you away. Freeze Time is one of the best openers I've heard in a while and then it leads right into the ever popular Come Original. Some other greats are Flowing, Life's Not a Race, Sever, and Eons. Then, the last three songs close the album very well. Leaving Babylon is sort of a relaxing reggae song that you could listen to while stoned and have a good time. Then Mindspin, one of the best 311 songs out there, sets you up for Livin' & Rockin' which closes the album with a bang. By the time you're done listening, you won't know what just hit you. It's amazing. |

| Transistor was originally supposed to be a double album, but the 21 songs were released on just one disc, which makes it the longest 311 album to date, including the greatest hits. Transistor contains some of the beautiful, experimental, and colorful songs that every 311 fan loves. Songs like Prisoner, Inner Light Spectrum, Jupiter, Use Of Time, Running, Starshines, and Stealing Happy Hours are popular songs amongst the more "hard-core" 311 fans, and probably some of the most requested songs at shows. Many people will give this album one or two listens, skip over some songs, and decide that it wasn't worth their ten bucks, but if you listen to it with an open mind, realizing that this isn't like any other 311 music, you will end up loving it just like I do and many other 311 fans do. |

| Don't Tread On Me is great in some ways, but it's horrible in other ways. It just depends on the person you ask and the way you look at it. Personally, I love this album. They have a wide variety of songs that show you completely what 311 has in their bag of tricks. You have "There's Always An Excuse" which shows you their ability to switch styles in the middle of a song multiple times. You have "Speak Easy" and "Whiskey & Wine" which show you their more sincere, melodic side. And you have "Solar Flare" and "It's Getting OK Now" which show you 311's more rock/hip-hop side. But this album did change from their earlier stuff to something different which could be the reason why a lot of people didn't like it. It just depends on how you look at it. |

| After going to the 311 Day 2006 in Memphis, I can honestly say that the only thing better than this DVD is actually being there, but while some aren't able to do this, this DVD gives you the next best thing. With this DVD, 311 proves that quantity can make people satisfied, but while they give a large quantity of songs, they definitely don't dissapoint with quality. Every song is amazing to listen to live. 311 is a great live band and when you mix that with the excitement of 311 Day and the energy of the fans you get something that not a lot of other bands are able to accomplish. |

| It's kind of funny how I grew to know and love this album. My love for Elliott Smith's music actually got me into this album. My friend showed me "Late" and I listened to the lyrics that tell about Elliott and I was like "I have to get this song!" I ended up just going out and buying the whole album just so I could have "Late." I gave it a listen and I found that every song on the album is just as good and just as beautiful as Late is. Songs like Landed, Time, and Jesusland tend to show up on my iPod's recently played list often. This album is great. |

Some of my favorite Dredg songs are on this album; songs like Same Ol Road, Of The Room, Scissor Lock, and Whoa Is Me. I like the "brushstroke" songs. They make the album feel like more of an album, more of a work of art rather than just a disc with songs on it. The difference between dredg and many other bands is, dredg cares about the artistic quality of their music more than the money that comes from it, something that is rare to find these days. |

| This is probably the best debut album I've ever heard given the circumstances. While writing and recording these songs, Elliott had no intention of releasing this as an album. He had been playing in Heatmiser, and his solo work was just a little side project that nobody knew about, and Elliott wanted to keep it that way. His friend discovered a tape that he had put together and really liked it. She reccomended that he release it and try and focus on solo work, so that's what he did. He recorded all these songs on a small four-track in his house, and like I said, given the circumstances, this is probably the best debut album ever. |

One thing that I love about this album is it feels like a complete album, not just a group of songs that were recorded and put together onto a CD. The only other complaint that I have is I think that A Kiss To Send Us Off is a little overproduced, but it's a good album overall. |

With rockers like Readymade and Storm In a Teacup, funk rock songs like Tell Me Baby and Charlie, laid back songs like She Looks To Me and If, as well as all the happy, "feel good" songs like Animal Bar, Hump De Bump, and Make You Feel Better. I love every single song on this album. I personally don't know why people like to bash on this album so much. It's great. |

With lots of unusual instrumentation and a sort of broadway musical feel, Release The Stars will get you tapping your foot even if you hate the music it contains. |

| Ryan adams has made me appreciate country music. Heartbreaker is a very solid album with some amazing tracks. To Be Young, Damn Sam, and My Winding Wheel are some of my favorite songs on here. He is also, in my opinion, one of the more talented musicians of the 21st century. I don't know how many albums he has released in seven years since this one came out, but I know that it's an unusually large amount. This album is one of my favorites as well. |

| I think that this album is great, but I think that Saosin will never be the same without Anthony Green. That's nothing against Cove Reber because a lot of bands would be better with Anthony Green. He's just a great singer, one of the best of the 21st century. I think that they should have changed their name when they changed singers. That would be like taking the lead singer from Soundgarden and putting him in Zach De La Rocha's place and not changing the name from RATM to Audioslave, OK not quite that extreme, but still the same thing. |

| This is probably my favorite TBS album. This album shows excellent progression from their debut album. Don't get me wrong, I love their debut, but for this being only their second studio release, it's very impressive. I find that the first four songs get a little overplayed, but they're still great. The last half of the record is my favorite personally. I'm going to admit that they discovered previously unmarked musical territory for themslelves with Louder Now, but this one is their best so far. |

| I think that with this album, you either love it or you hate it. For me, I'll love it one day, and the next day I'll be like "get this out of here." I don't know. There are some REALLY good songs on this album, I'm not going to deny that, and I like how a lot of the songs mesh together to create one big song, but some of the songs like "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" and "Sun King" just drag on too much. |

| The only thing that kept me from giving this album a 5 was the lack of classics like "lucy in the sky" and "a day in the life" etc. I realize that this album is just a compilation of all their number 1 hits, so I'm not blaming the people who put this album together for not including these songs, I'm blaming the American public of the 1960's for not getting these songs up to number 1. But it is a great compilation and I love listening to it. |

| Have you ever stopped liking a band simply because you don't agree with what they represent? That's how I am with The Used. They really let their fame go to their head with this album. They are from the same town that I'm from (Orem, Ut) and now they just disrespect Utah every chance they get. If I was to hit it big with music or whatever else, even if I hated Utah I would still give my props to it just because that's where I grew up. Plus, the music on here is plain, below average, and just annoying. Brandon Steineckert is one of my favorite drummers and I'm glad he was able to get out of that band. |

| I love this album. I picked up the second one and I was very disappointed. Every song on this album is so sincere and so meaningful, they weren't trying to impress anyone with this album, they were just making music that was meaningful to them. That's what I like about this one. Plus, they're from the same city that I live in, that makes them cool no matter what in my book. |

| Thom Yorke didn't dissapoint with this solo album. It has a lot of electronic beats and all that stuff because this album is truly a solo album, he wrote everything by himself with a little help from Jonny Greenwood. The only problem I have with this album is that it only has 9 tracks, but everything else is amazing, from the cover of the album to the music, everything is excellent. |

| There are a lot of people who say that this isn't as good as some of the other stuff Thrice has put out because the guitars and drums follow more of a pattern and don't really do any solos or anything, but that's why I like it. Every song is damn solid. The drums create a certain beat, and keep up with it the whole song, or the whole album to be precise. The guitars and vocals also keep up with everything being created. Everything is perfectly equalized, and I don't think they could have done a better job on this album. The only thing keeping me from giving this a 5 is that I don't think it's a classic. |
