i'm not a huge fan of double-albums.. the only ones I've really enjoyed are The White Album.. and to a lesser extent the Foos' "In Your Honor"..
Like GNR's "Use Your Illusion," you can take half of these songs and categorize them as "great".. and then take the other half and catagorize them as "mediocre/shit"
The first 9 tracks on disc 1 are great (aside from Slow Cheetah), with a few highlights on disc 2 ("tell me baby," "readymade," "make you feel better") I'm not a huge fan of jam-songs, but I must say that I love "Turn it again"
I saw them live in September in Toronto.. they were amazing (aside from not playing under the bridge and otherside) |
