Had a chance of catching them live on holiday and had to pick up the EP - for fans of GnR with elements of Extreme woven through. The songs are well crafted and show fantastic musicianship with the singing, guitars and bass - only downside for me were parts of the drumming, which I felt is the only key to holding them back from becoming a super star act.Extreme Saudades de Rock3.0Star and Comfortably Numb have potential to be classic Extreme songs but suffer from a dry production. Most of the other songs are very forgettable - Ghost is a really great piano driven track that is the highlight for me. It's just great to have Extreme making music again.Voodoo Six Songs to Invade Countries To2.5Saw them when they first started out playing in London in small bars and thought they were really going to make it big. Took a long time to get the gig with Maiden where I last saw them play tracks from this album and I feel they've taken a step back musically. The song writing through this album has potential but is let down by the singers approach to the songs, his style of vocal gets tiring after a full album. Not enough melody for me.
