Seldom heard-of debut dwarfs anything else this band has done.

| ||Titus Andronicus An Obelisk|
This is the musical equivalent of the shoulder shrug emoji. A slight improvement over A Productive Cough, but still miles short of anything they used to make or are capable of. They need to hunker down for a few years and record another high-effort release instead of these annual proofs of existence that all kind of suck.
| ||The Dangerous Summer Mother Nature|
Excellent record. I have a weird connection with their self-titled from last year (which most everyone else views as their weakest effort), so this doesn't quite hit that emotional level vocally or lyrically for me, but the music surrounding everything is noticeably improved. Gonna keep jamming this all summer and undoubtedly witness it grow even more.
| ||Bad Books III|
One of the best folk albums I've heard in my entire life. Up there with Sufjan's "Carrie & Lowell", Simon & Garfunkel's "Bookends", Fleet Foxes' "Helplessness Blues", etc. This is truly on another level; it's a timeless sociopolitical thinkpiece with religious and other existential implications. The celestial atmospheres that Hull and Devine craft here are haunting and nothing short of breathtaking. This is worthy of the "classic" title. If you enjoy indie-folk, then go dim the lights, fire up your vinyl player or your headphones, grab a glass of your favorite wine, and let Bad Books' "III" move you.
|KateBush Hello SowingSeason! Papa Universe said that I should maybe ask you if it might be possible to have a space between my first and last names, if that's O.K. with you? |

|Hawks I appreciate the kind words bro. I?ve just been thinking and I feel like I?ve really earned it as of late. I love writing for this site so much and getting that title would honestly mean so much to me. I?m gonna stop feeding into the bs and focus on being a great writer from now on. Hope you guys see some progress.|
