Perfect stoner rock. Great melodies, solid guitar, drums, and bass, and an endearing, sort of Rivers Cuomo-esque vocal style from Kweller. Excellent indie pop-rock, for sure brah.

Sha Sha is Ben Kweller?s full length debut on ATO Records, and demonstrates the subtle skill and talent that Kweller has for songwriting. In between tossing off clever lyrics (take a listen to the opening track ?How It Should Be (Sha Sha)?), irresistible melodies (?Wasted and Ready,??Falling?) and touching ballads (?In Other Words,? ?Lizzy?), Kweller gives us a real self portrait that seems very hard not to like. Overall, Sha Sha shows a true artist and a talent who doesn?t receive nearly the attention he deserves.
