You won't find anything here that's breaking down any walls, but with some of the beats and a few heavier key moments, you'll find it definitely worth a spin or two.

It's generic and shitty as hell. It follows around the musical stylings of a strange My Darkest Days and Abandon All Ships (something that sounds worse then it sounds) but seems to be channeling Bring Me the Horizon. Also, any band that covers
LFMAO is certainly not music that should be covered or heard from in any style.

I feel like people that hate this don't know how to have fun. It's far from generic like other reviews have said. The guitar and drums punch you in the face and there are some crazy patterns hidden beneath the catchy synths. They also don't stray away from guitar solos like so many other bands in heavy music do. What really sets this album over the top is the absurd storytelling. For example DTK talks about some girl going around giving everyone HIV because she wants everyone to die and Hawaiian Killer talks about a failed date rapist that decides to break into the club and force everyone to dance at gunpoint. What's holding me back from giving it a 5 are the few unnecessary songs near the end including the Champagne Showers cover and the poor vocal mix that makes it hard to hear the absurd lyrics.

The ‘Champagne Showers’ cover has gotta be one of the best things ever. I’m being completely serious here.
Captures my aesthetic predespositions so well, it’s terrifying. LOVE the menacing, autotune-drenched crooning
and the electronic dazzle dominating the track. And those sensual male whispers during the breaks? Unf.
Like a perfect, menacing glow of something evil in the midst of a shimmering cityscape of a metropolis ruled by a
technological overlord... Needs a genre of it’s own. Electronicore doesn’t cut it. Don’t care for the rest of the
album but imma give it a 3.5 for the LMFAO cover alone. Ya’ll haters boring af.

Anybody who actually bothers to skip the foreplay is even dumber than I am whenever it comes to mixing up irony and hypocrisy. Now here's something that must be nailed down even further than it already was: Nightlife sucks ass like a straw. The erratic guitar solos thrown in don't improve the album's atrocious condition.
