This album blew me away. I never liked bands like DT and SyX on the vocals alone, because of course they're amazing musicians. But this band does the vocals just right in my opinion and so I can enjoy the amazing instruments that much more.

Nine definitely feels more experimental than Isolate, leading to some curious moments in the fact they're somewhat traditional. Yet all the same, Nine feels more engaging and even varied than Isolate, just without as much consistency.

Truly great. As I recall listening to their previous albums, songs more often seemed like a loose jam spinning off their musical influences, variations on a theme and ideas. rHere the songwriting seems focused and songs "tell a tale" so much more often.rI'd love to write a review for this as soon as I find some more time
