Great album. It's quite a mix off Unia/DOG and thier earlier works. First 3 Tracks, Broken Hearts (Great opening riff here), Shitload of Money and Losing My Insanity sound more from the style you found in Reckoning night with some nice melodic riffs to be found. then it gets heavier with the next few songs until Cinderblox which has a fantastic solo in the second part of the song. Next comes the albums ballad Don't Be Mean which is has some great vocal work from Tony.rAll in All, this is a fantastic album. not as dark and heavy as thier previous 2 albums, but still some dark elements here to keep you headbanging. Best release in 2012 so far!

Weird, and not in the good way. Still listened to this a decent amount to HOPE to find something decent, but all I could muster was lols from how amazingly bad SHITLOAD OF MONEY is.

Sonata Arctica is just a band you can't set expectations for. Their old fans miss their classic, dangerously fast epic style, while others would criticize them for having no depth. I am not with either dissenting group. I just wish they could make some music without so damn awkward. This isn't substantially worse than known piece of trash The Days of Grays, but still lacks any moment of interest. It's more simple and loosely put together than probably all of their previous stuff. It's boring even writing a sound off for this nonsense.

Average album, most of the album is ballads or midpaced pop metal tracks but there are a few that harken back to something from Reckoning night, Losing My Insanity, Cinderblox and Wilderfire Part 3 all feature some double bass and fast riffs that we loved from that album.
