My second fav output from these chaps. This is a true reinvention of jazz, but I just feel they did not attain their true potential. This is full of good jams: UWM, Rotten Decay, CMYK, and Flashing Lights all make me feel high without smokin' that sweet MJ.

Despite occasionally being repetitive, BBNG2 is a refreshing listen that includes covers of popular hip-hop songs and a selection of original compositions. The musicians display a lot of talent throughout it's runtime (see "DMZ"). The production is also very clear, with each piece of the trio having their noise heard equally. Recommended for fans of jazz, hip-hop, and math rock.

While it's not as smooth as its predecessor, it's a lot more energetic and varied with more of a jazz fusion vibe, along with more original content, they truly prove themselves to be much more than, "that jazz band that plays rap beats".
