A beyond intense live show resulting in the destruction of a drumkit, the snapping of multiple picks and an inordinate amount of facial hair cemented my interest in these amazing musicians. rThese guys are a mature band (i.e. they're not seventeen year olds recording in their garage), and it shows through in their performance and songwriting. Songs such as 'Souvenirs' and 'God Hates The New Facebook' tear out of the speakers with unparalleled ferocity, with delayed melodies layered atop. Definitely a slight progressive edge here. Vocal performance calls to mind the golden days of hardcore, with half-sung, half-shouted vocals intermingling with ferocious screams. The bassist has a beard.
